South Africa meets Kenya in new Afrohouse single Waiting starring South Africa’s Lunga Baainar and Bee-Bar together with Kenyan singer-songwriter and DJ Tina Ardor. Waiting blends storytelling and electronic music taking one through a journey of longing, love and hope. This is marked with the chorus, “I will find you waiting….” The storytelling is perfectly captured in the lyrics “You know I’ve been waiting day and night….” together with the afrohouse rhythm.
Lunga Baainar’s groovy production lays the foundation for Tina Ardor’s lead vocals. Bee-Bar adds his harmony bringing an added layer of depth and soul. Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Tina Ardor shared:
