Lady Jaydee marks 25 years in the music scene by dropping new single PoPo. This serves a her first single after she inked a deal in 2024 with Universal Music East Africa . Officially known as Judith Mbimbo, she proudly marks her 25th anniversary celebrating no scandals.
PoPo is a song of gratitude as Lady Jaydee has been making music for two and a half decades in the bongo flava genre . She earned the tittle ‘Queen of Bongo Flava,’ following her prowess in the genre standing out in the male dominated field.

PoPo is produced by Ugandan producer Andy Music. Lady JayDee has worked with Andy in several projects e.g. hit song NdiNdiNdi among others. PoPo has a reggae beat with a blend of of English, Swahili and Patois which is commonly used in reggae and dancehall music. The line “Aliyenipenda mm kanifikisha mimi mpaka hapa…,” shows Lady JayDee’s gratitude as she celebrates her silver anniversary. The video has dancers who are having a good time vibing to the reggae rhythm. The official video is directed by Nicklass.
