44 Affair EP is a collaborative EP between 4Mr Frank White and Big Man released 23rd January 2026. Its title pays homage to Kahawa West, 44, Nairobi, where Frank is from. The project reflects his environment, blending Dancehall rhythms with Afro-Fusion elements to create a captivating sound. The producers who worked on this 4-track EP were ee.lai01, beatsbynatte and fyat_beatz. Executive production and music arrangement was done by 40fooo while mixing and mastering completed by original.addi and lemarioonthetrackkk. This is 4Mr Frank White’s first project of the year, following numerous singles and his November EP with Mwanaa, Mchezo Wa Jiji.
Track By Track Analysis
Kalibar begins with a short dialogue between the 2 artists where Frank reveals if it wasn’t for Ethic Entertainment, he wouldn’t have been rapping today. Its beat features a booming baseline, a flute sample, and shakers that provide the song’s rhythm. In Kalibar’s chorus Frank paints a picture of readiness for physical altercations and offers praise for his entourage, asserting that competitors cannot reach this level of artistry: “Pull up with a skeng, keng, keng kama taliban / When I pull up with the gang, gang, gang huwanga ngori man, tunakuanga juu hamwezi fika kwa hii caliber.” Both artists share stories of how they began rapping and their journey so far in their verses, completing the song.
44 Affair is an aggressive and unapologetic song where Frank and Big Man trade bars in a lyrical showdown. The chorus addresses haters where Frank declares he’s unbothered by them: “On top of the mountain, nawascope waki snare, ata wakihate, bado huendi anywhere / Ata wakigang up hawawezani na my aura.” Big Man’s first verse displays a fluid flow and rhyme scheme: “Wako wapi? Wako wapi? Wako chini down there, super fly, on air ,they can never compare.” 4Mr Frank White verse had hilarious and creative wordplay, for example: “Kichwa imechemka, I feel hot kwenye ubongo, I’m mud (mad) yaani nimeundwa na udongo.”
In Leo Leo, the two artists promote proactiveness while shunning procrastination. The title translates to ‘today today,’ and in the chorus Frank declares: “I’m a one man army, me narolingi solo na naifanya leo leo singoji tomorrow, me naifanya leo leo, singoji tomorrow me nafanya leo leo.” The song’s production features another flute sample, contributing to a calm yet encouraging atmosphere. The final track, Tiki Taka features an old school RNB beat, however its not a love song. Tiki-taka is a football playing style defined by short, quick passes, constant movement, and maintaining possession to control the game, famously used by Spain and FC Barcelona under Pep Guardiola. It calls out people pretending to be something they are not.
Conclusion
4Mr Frank White has maintained a steady release schedule since his breakout album, Taigwa Goma, was released in January 2025. He followed that project with two others in the same year namely Taigwa Goma: The Lost Files and Wazi Wraps. One thing that sets him apart from other artists is his production and beat selection, which remains a central feature of the 44 Affair EP. Each track tells its own unique story while showing fans that Frank has grown as an artist and a person. 44 Affair EP was an enjoyable listen, featured solid production, engaging narratives and lyrical delivery. It deserves a solid 9.0/10 rating.
