Glitter Freestyle is the 1st single from Toxic Lyrikali, following Euphoria in October. The Kayole native released the track’s audio on the 12th of November, a few days after his performance at Oktoba Fest 2025 in Nanyuki. The freestyle was previously previewed on the 11th of September on THEE STAINERS FAMILY’s YouTube channel, which showed him rapping the lyrics as the song played in the background. The aggressive song showcases his lyrical prowess, effortless flow switches, great beat selection and creative wordplay, signature traits of his music. He collaborated with producer vlmightysos, who made the eerie beat. Glitter Freestyle is currently #28 on the Youtube Kenya Trending Music Videos List.
Glitter Freestyle Lyrical Breakdown
The foundation for the beat is a moody four-chord piano sequence, layered by a high pitched three-chord progression which gives the song a foreboding and sinister feeling. It’s rounded off by 808s, crisp hi-hats, and a kick typical of the classic trap/hip-hop sound. Toxic begins the song with an unapologetic callout to an anonymous individual he has beef with: “Fala kwa hii beef we hutoshi mboka, nawagutuka kihorror, ona ulizimwa adi brain ikaformat.” He continues by doubling down on the disrespect: “Nitaje kwa lyrics, huyo ni dem yako kwa DMs ya me, okay / Negotiation na naona utableed, cooperate before ukose malips.”
Toxic opens up about having to deal with one’s problems by yourself in the ghetto as no one is coming to save you: “Always ghetto yout, niko bie, kindani-ndani narun insane, hakuna msee anakuja kunisave, chonjo, tusipatane chwom late.” He switches his flow after this line, spicing up the song while reminding his haters to relax: “Me nilisha-decide kila kitu nafanya ni major, flight mode, niko high, niko mteja / Wako on heat, hao mahater, cool down, I’m about to get better, daily dua, me najua, akiongoza ndio list ntawai.”

A couple of lines later he switches his flow again while increasing his tempo: “Ya dunia ni hapa hapa me ndio natumwa nikuconfirmie / Kanyaga ndula, ni maziwa nikukanyagie.” His delivery is one of a kind, making almost everything he says catchy, regardless of whether its dark or not: “Dhigidha Toxic, kama ukona coffin, sina coast, wadhani natumia narcotic, shoka ikikunywes kwa kisogo iyo ni shocking, iende slow hunt, kama uko floating.” He continues questioning if anyone is on his level: “Superman, si lyrical man, power yangu si unang’am? Nani uyo ananishindanga kurap?”
The song ends with him questioning why people call him “bro” when they don’t even know him: “Nashangaa na watu iningi, we unaniita bro? We unanijua? Kutrust trend ni ngumu, natambua watu wa East, si ati nazua.” He praises his lyrical ability once more through a rhyme scheme: “Mistari out of this world, nika nilidunda na alien ship, unapenda doba zangu? Sawa, lakini usinisunde kwa iyo relationship / Alikuja home nikafanya service, na si ya fellowship, best friend kwa estate, wao huniita terrorist.”
Conclusion
Glitter Freestyle stands out as a declaration of mastery of his craft by Toxic, a chance for him to have some fun in the studio while still delivering quality music. His lyrical ingenuity ensures freshness in his music and although the topics might be recurring, he masterfully reinvents how he expresses them. Morever, Toxic’s consistency ensure fans always have something new to listen to. The beat was entertaining while his delivery or bar after bar made the song a huge success, I give it a rating of 9.5/10 as it was an impressive freestyle. Read another article here.
